Augur will release sports lotteries
The prediction market Augur, the oldest smart contract on the Ethereum network, is launching a new product. The Augur Turbo sports lotteries, a decentralized version of sports betting, will become available to users. Smart contracts will issue tokens, where odds are calculated for different outcomes of a match, providing an exhaustive selection of different events and results, no different from bookmaker tables.
Lottery payouts will be calculated based on match results processed by the Chainlink oracles. It is now the main provider of cryptocurrency price streams from order books and order books of centralized exchanges to various DeFi platforms. The algorithm allows you to easily process other types of data, for example, sports.
Augur will release sports lotteries
The first Augur Turbo lotteries will be released on the results of the NBA, MLB, MMA games. Users will be able to place bets on the Summer Olympics in Japan. Smart contracts will work on the Polygon MATIC network to reduce the cost of fees that sometimes skyrocket on Ethereum.
