British billionaire's company invested 1.5% of assets in cryptocurrency
Brevan Howard hedge fund founder Alan Howard, through his firm Elwood, began offering cryptocurrency services to companies and institutions. In addition, Elwood has directly invested 1.5% of its assets in cryptocurrency.

Alan Howard does not share the opinion of the Financial Conduct Authority regarding the prohibition of cryptocurrency derivatives and its rhetoric against cryptocurrencies.
Howard also supports startups from the cryptocurrency sector. For example, his company spearheaded a round of funding for storage service Copper.co, with $ 4 million invested in the Asian cryptocurrency trading app Kikitrade. In addition, investments were made in CoinShares and the Canadian lending platform Ledn.
Elwood now offers cryptocurrency services for crypto exchanges, neobanks, fintech companies, asset managers and payment services. The company previously offered asset management services and has now invested in cloud technology and software to simplify service delivery. According to the company, the platform will allow access to thousands of crypto assets on more than 30 cryptocurrency exchanges.
