Japan will host the country's first IEO
Hashpalette's digital content creation platform's internal token will be the first digital coin to be issued as a result of an initial public offering on the Japanese cryptocurrency market.
Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck has announced the country's first initial exchange offering (IEO). In the summer, the site will place for sale tokens of the Hashpalette cross-blockchain (HPT), focused on the creation of digital content.
Japan will host the country's first IEO
Coincheck partnered with Hashpalette back in August last year. HPT will be the first token to be issued as a result of an IEO in the Japanese cryptocurrency market.
In May 2020, amendments to the legislation came into force in Japan, which regulated the circulation of cryptocurrencies in the country.
An initial exchange offer (IEO) is an alternative ICO option, which differs from it in that it is not project developers who are looking for investors for new tokens, but the cryptocurrency exchange selects promising teams and promotes their coins among its users.
