SuperRare's NFT token went up 1,300 percents overnight
NFT marketplace SuperRare was launched in August 2018. Over the past three years, more than 1,400 artists have sold more than $90 million worth of tokens on it, according to the project's official blog.
Yesterday, it announced a move to version 2.0, which involves several innovations, including the launch of a decentralized SuperRare DAO organization run by the project's own token holders and executives, as well as the ability to import NFTs issued on other platforms.
Also on August 17, the project announced a free distribution of 150 million RARE tokens. Users who have sold or bought NFTs on SuperRare before July 21, 2021 can get the coins.
The giveaway will last for 90 days, after which the remaining tokens will be returned to the project's wallet.
